Hiring Manager: Casey Jordan, Technology Strategy & Research

This is a hybrid Product Owner role with a distinctive scope of responsibility. Based within the Technology Research and Analytics group, this position owns our Research products - a mix of specific deliverables, consulting, and advisory support on technology products and strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Vendor management: Help manage relationships with research partners such as Gartner, while identifying new research sources and solutions.
  • Enterprise connector: Connect teams to existing solutions across the enterprise to foster a more integrated technology community, while developing and executing a communication and stakeholder engagement strategy that continually elevates research efforts, increases visibility of findings, and promotes adoption of emerging capabilities across the organization
  • Communicating value and trends: Share insights on the value of research and on trends observed both within our group and from other forward-looking technology teams (such as Digital Progression), ensuring the right people have the right information to make informed decisions.
  • Create a repeatable, adaptable process for research products: Continuously evolve with the technology landscape, increasingly integrating new tools, methods, and innovations to strengthen our research capabilities, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making across the organization.

What success looks like:

Day-to-day work will vary, but successful candidates will be able to:

  • Distill complex information into clear, presentation-ready summaries
  • Communicate effectively both in person and asynchronously (e.g., written updates, chat, email)
  • Learn new technology concepts and product spaces quickly and adapt with confidence
  • Proactively asks thoughtful questions to clarify priorities, assumptions, and requirements in order to move work forward effectively
  • Broadly socialize findings to the right audience - whether it’s a specific group in the enterprise with related work or a broad community blog
  • Network effectively internally to ensure awareness across SBU’s to aid group insights as well as to provide awareness of research product offerings

Support: You won't be doing this alone - you'll be supported by a fellow researcher, our research vendor partners, and a wide range of available data sources.

  • Strong presentation and networking skills
  • Able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders; strong leadership skills.
  • Able to make difficult and quick decisions daily.
  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to lead a team to push the solutions and progress.
  • Knowledge of relevant products and portfolio preferred.
  • Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amongst uncertainty.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into clear, concise, and actionable learning materials for stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relationships throughout the business.
  • Skilled at curating, synthesizing, and condensing large volumes of information into easily consumable content.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, processes, and concepts quickly.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years direct experience with agile teams as well as 7 years in business, technology, or consulting.
