Because you know the machine by heart and you are also the expert we send to customers when a problem goes beyond what field service can solve. You report to the Head of Manufacturing and work closely with engineering, applications and our service team.Your responsibilities\nTesting in production\nRun test procedures on each tool through the build: hardware tests, software commissioning and process tests on test wafers\nPrepare and carry out factory acceptance tests (FAT), including with customers present\nDiagnosis and feedback to engineeringAnalyse failures systematically across all subsystems and find their root causes\nReport issues to engineering in a structured way, work with them on solutions and verify fixes on the tool\nBring a tester's view into new designs: testability, diagnostics and serviceability\nCustomer support in the fieldAct as second-level support for our service engineers and customers, remotely and on site.\nDiagnose complex production issues at customer sites using machine logs, data and hands-on investigation.\nSupport installations and site acceptance tests at customers.\nBuild up troubleshooting guides and train service engineers and partners.\n Your profile\nDegree in engineering or physics (e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, laser/optical technology) or a technician qualification with relevant professional experience\nSeveral years of experience in testing, commissioning or field support of complex machines\nA systematic approach to troubleshooting across various disciplines (mechanics, electrics, software etc)\nAbility to read electrical schematics and fluid diagrams (P&ID);
