Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.\nThis position is eligible for relocation assistance. \nResponsibilities\nEssential Job Dutie:\nLead all actions and tasks related to functional safety projects.\nApply safety and regulatory standards such as ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 19014, ISO 12100 or comparable safety standards during product development.\nInvolved in the development of system level hazard analysis, HARA activities ‘as per ISO 12100 ISO13849/ISO 19014 and IEC 61508 and determine the safety function.\nWrite system concept design from the safety function defining system designed to achieve the safe state.\nEnsure that engineering team provides the input data necessary for the quantification and justification and parameters (MTTFd, DC, CCF, etc.) required for the evaluation of the level of performance (PL).\nPartner with engineering team to translate the system safety requirement to safety design architecture and functional safety requirements\nCommunicate on gaps between achieved and required PL/SIL values. Determine with hardware and software designers and what design improvements are required.\nSupport system and sub-system design teams with respect to system FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis\nMaintains documented roles & responsibilities for each functional safety representative of the functional groups.\nEstablish Verification & Validation strategies and any certification activities required by the project\nEnsures the functional safety project is delivered on time and with quality\nHelp internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.\nCompetencies\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor/Master of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or similar fields.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience on Function safety projects for Off-Road Machine. Working\nknowledge with safety standards like IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 19014. Experience in defending\nSafety Analysis (FMEA, FTA, etc.) at the system level. Excellent written and verbal communication and\npeople engagement skills.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nTravel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.\nThis position is remote work eligible.\nOur Offer\nPay Range: $101,000 - $140,000\nAn interesting and ambitious role in a successful international company.
