Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Job Duties:\nManage nonconforming product and quality issues in the Nonconforming Report (NR) system.\nEffectively communicate product, process, and system non-conformances and escalate as needed, to the appropriate level of management.\nSupervise and review corrective actions in order to prevent re-occurrence.\nPrepare and present data for management review to aid in root cause analysis and solutions related to product failures, inspection, and improvement opportunities\nFunctional understanding and the ability to perform problem-solving techniques.\nAbility to utilize statistical analysis of data to identify potential product or process downstream failures and implement preventive actions.\nUnderstanding of Measurements Systems Analysis (MSA) methods and applications.\nWork with stakeholders to improve manufacturing, measurements, and verification processes.\nPromote awareness of customer requirements, complaints, and concerns throughout the organization.\nOffer expertise and mentorship on company continuous improvement and Lean concepts, tools, and practices.\nResponsible for managing inbound, in-process and outbound inspection and product audit activities at the facility.\nAssist with new process improvement implementations; coordinate and manage inspection processes, establish priorities and maximum usage of assigned resources.\nProvide guidance in development and revision of LPA and product audit questions and inspection characteristics providing emphasis on processes and product weaknesses.\nEnsure proper approval and documentation practices are followed.\nLead special projects as assigned; complete and disseminate metric reports related to audit results and departmental performance indicators.\nSupervisory Duties:\nManages Direct Reports 4 to 8.\nResponsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Product Quality team.\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and\nresolving problems.\nCompetencies\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree from four-year college and 4 to 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should have 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.\nAdditional Requirements:\nTravel nationally and internationally up to 25%.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.\nThis position is working from home eligible.\nOur Offer\nPay Range: $120,000 - $136,000\nAn interesting and ambitious role in a successful international company.
