We are looking for a motivated SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d) to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid.\nIn this role, you will contribute to our global SAP S/4HANA transformation program and coordinate the installation, configuration, administration, and ongoing operation of SAP systems ensuring the correct alignment with Liebherr’s global standards.\nYou will be responsible for the system’s availability, performance, security, and scalability across SAP landscapes (Development, Test, Quality, Production), supporting both ongoing programs as well as business as usual operations.\nYou will be part of an international, cross-functional environment that values collaboration, methodology, and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on how Liebherr operates globally.\nThe working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time spent on-site on a weekly basis.\nCreating passion: your responsibilities\nOperate and manage SAP systems within a RISE with SAP model, ensuring high availability and stability across all environments (Development, Test, Quality and Production).\nAct as the technical interface with between SAP RISE service teams, and external implementation partners, ensuring effective coordination and issue resolution.\nMonitor system health, performance, and capacity in line with agreed SLAs, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.\nCoordinate and support system maintenance activities, including upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.\nManage SAP transport and support release, deployment, and cutover activities in alignment with change and release management standards.\nSupport system level security, authorizations, and compliance requirements in collaboration with security teams.\nSupport the technical operation of SAP MDG, including hub architecture configuration, workflow transport management, and integration with S/4HANA and downstream systems.\nSupport SAP EWM technical operations, including system connectivity, qRFC/IDoc monitoring, batch job management, and Fiori related configurations.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.\nTravel (up to 15%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments. \nContributing your strengths: your qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, or related discipline.\n5+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally in S/4HANA environments.\nHands-on experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition) or managed SAP cloud environments.\nStrong understanding of SAP technical operations, monitoring, and lifecycle management processes.\nExperience working with SAP support organizations, incident management processes, and external service providers.\nKnowledge of SAP HANA fundamentals and SAP transport management (STMS, CTS / ChaRM is a plus).\nFamiliarity with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and RFC/API communication management is a plus.\nBasic understanding of SAP MDG hub architecture and SAP EWM technical landscape is a plus.\nExperience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for system monitoring, change management, and operations is highly desired.\nStructured, reliable, and service-oriented working style.\nA collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.\nFluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage. \nWillingness to travel internationally (up to 15%) as required by project work.\nSAP certifications (Basis, S/4HANA, HANA, or RISE) are a plus.\nOur commitment to you: your benefits\nAt Liebherr, we believe people are at the heart of our success.
