We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4 HANA Solution Architect - Manufacturing (m/f/d) to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid.\nIn this role, you will own and shape the Manufacturing domain of Liebherr’s global S/4HANA template for our Sales and Service companies (“Mixed Sales Companies”), supporting a multi-division environment spanning Aerospace, Construction Machinery, Appliances, and other industrial segments, as well as business models such as remanufacturing and limited manufacturing.\nYou will drive the design of standardized, scalable, and efficient manufacturing solutions, promoting SAP best practices and Clean Core principles, while enabling flexible production and remanufacturing scenarios. You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr runs its business worldwide.\nThe working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time spent on-site on a weekly basis.\nCreating passion: your responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end Manufacturing solution architecture within the global S/4HANA template for Sales and Service companies, ensuring consistency, scalability and governance.\nDesign and govern global template solutions across key Manufacturing areas such as: Production planning and control, Shopfloor execution, Bill of materials and routings, MRP and capacity planning, Subcontracting and external processing, Remanufacturing and refurbishment processes, Limited/local assembly scenarios y Sales and Service entities.\nTranslate complex business and statutory requirements from multiple countries and divisions into harmonized, standard SAP solutions minimizing custom development, driving process harmonization and simplification.\nLead and facilitate global design workshops with manufacturing, operations and supply chain stakeholders.\nDesign and govern the integration of Manufacturing with Procurement and sourcing, Inventory and logistics, Quality management, Controlling and product costing, Service and spare parts processes, Engineering and PLM systems.\nAct as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance across all project phases: Design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live stabilization.\nContribute to change management activities, ensuring adoption of new processes and S/4HANA solutions.\nSupport the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.\nCollaborate closely with an international, cross-functional team to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that support our global growth.\nTravel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments. \nContributing your strengths: your qualifications\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.\n7+ years of SAP experience in Manufacturing or Production Planning, including significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing (PP).\nProven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead consultant in international SAP programs or template-based rollouts.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing and operations processes in industrial or equipment related industries. Experience in engineer-to-order or configure-to-order environments is a strong advantage.\nDeep expertise in S/4HANA Manufacturing capabilities, including Production planning and execution, MRP and demand-driven planning, BOM and routing management, Subcontracting and external processing, Integration with quality and logistics, and Production costing integration with CO.\nExperience designing global templates across multiple countries and legal entities.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and value.\nFamiliar with JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools) for task management and team collaboration.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nFluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.\nA collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.\nWillingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.\nSAP S/4HANA Manufacturing certification is a strong plus.\nOur commitment to you: your benefits\nAt Liebherr, we believe people are at the heart of our success.
