We deliver high-quality care with a personal touch and encourage our Members to enjoy life to the fullest.\nGeneral Summary\nThe Cook is responsible for the cold preparation and assisting the Line Cooks in the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes.\nPosition Available: Full Time\nEssential Job Duties\nPrepare all greens, dressing, and vinaigrettes per the daily menu.\nPrepares and stocks all produce for the daily menu.\nPrepare for food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders per instruction. Assist in food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food are preserved.\nDetermine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus responsibilities and see that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production.\nAssist prep cook and utility personnel as needed.\nQualifications\nOne to two years experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club or similar institution.\nAbility to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.\nAbility to organize work in priority order.\nAbility to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.\nKnowledge of basic kitchen equipment operations.
