The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall coordination of food preparation, cooking and baking activities, dietary standards, the quality and nutritional value of foods prepared and maintaining a positive, courteous work environment for staff and residents. This person is a key member of the culinary departments management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community’s mission, philosophy, values and the Company’s vision, principles and Hospitality Promises.\nStarting salary of $90,000 - commensurate with fine culinary experience.\nHere are a few of the daily responsibilities:\nAs our culinary leader, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations and create an exceptional dining experience for residents.\nLead, coach, schedule, and develop kitchen team members.\n\nRecruit, hire, train, and support staff performance.\n\nPlan menus and oversee meal preparation for all levels of care.\n\nEnsure meals meet quality, presentation, dietary, and food safety standards.\n\nEngage with residents to gather feedback and enhance dining services.\n\nManage food ordering, receiving, inventory, and budget performance.\n\nMaintain compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.\n\nPromote a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred.\n\n3+ years of leadership experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.\n\nExperience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred.\n\nCurrent ServSafe® certification and required state certifications.\n\nStrong knowledge of culinary operations, menu planning, food safety, and budgeting.\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.\n\nHOSPITALITY FOCUS: \nThe Arlington fully embraces a culture of hospitality.
