matters\nHere are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Host/Hostess:\nResponsible for arranging seating accommodations and greeting residents, guests, and staff while maintaining a friendly environment.\nReview and maintain current reservation system.\n Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and wait stations including table pedestals, chairs, rugs, drapes, flooring tiles, light fixtures, etc.\n Supervises the appearance of dining room tables, including table linens, napkins,silverware, table setup, centerpieces.\n\nSchedules work assignments for all dining room personnel assigning specific jobs and spot checking to ensure standards are met.\nAdvises the Dining Room Supervisor/Manager regarding dining room status.\nAssists bus and wait staff on the floor when needed and receives a consensus on resident feedback and satisfaction.\nPerforms specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.\nReceives residents calls regarding reservations, room service.\nOversees and organizes Meal to Go Program and ensures accuracy of all completed orders.\nEnsures all orders are billed accurately and accordingly in a timely manner in the POS system.\nRuns all end of meal period reports and sends them to Accounting department.\nAttends weekly Food and Beverage Meeting with Managers & Supervisors\nMaintains organization and cleanliness of host stations.\nHere are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:\nMust be ServSafe® Certified\nMust hold current state-required sanitation (Safe Food Handling and/ or Certified Food Manager) certification/licensure. \nA minimum of two years hospitality experience in “front of the house operations” within restaurant, hotel, club or similar institution. \nAbility to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with and be tolerant of residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, team members and other outside contacts. \nAbility to work in indoor and outdoor
