This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community.\nStarting Pay: $18/hour\nHere are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:\nExemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.\nResponsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.\nClean and sanitize common areas, bathrooms, dining areas, and other designated spaces.\nPerform routine dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfection.\nFollow established infection prevention and control procedures, including proper use of cleaning products and personal protective equipment.\nRespond promptly to housekeeping requests and address spills or other cleanliness concerns as they arise.\nReport maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions observed while performing housekeeping duties. \nRespect residents' privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces while providing housekeeping services.\nDemonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.\nHere are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.\nMust be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. \nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete assigned duties.\nThree to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.\nLifts and carries up to 50 lbs. occasionally.\nWalking, standing, pushing, bending and stretching frequently.\nMust be able to climb and descend ladders and stairs.\nBasic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures preferred. \nMust demonstrate a positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve and support older adults.\nIf you're an enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is passionate about hospitality and creating an extraordinary experience for seniors, please apply!
