This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment that meets residents’ needs.\nMinimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position required. Must be able to up to 30lbs.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nPerform weekly cleaning functions as directed by supervisor. \nRemove soiled bed and bath linens and replace with fresh linens (where applicable).\nClean phones, bathrooms and kitchen areas. \nClean outside of refrigerator, dusts furniture and lamps. \nCheck for cobwebs and remove. \nVacuum carpets and sweep, mop as needed. \nPerform weekly cleaning functions as directed by supervisor. \nRemove soiled bed and bath linens and replace with fresh linens (where applicable).\nClean phones, bathrooms and kitchen areas. \nClean outside of refrigerator, dusts furniture and lamps. \nCheck for cobwebs and remove. \nVacuum carpets and sweep, mop as needed. \nTurn mattresses (where applicable). \nVacuum and dust hallways. \nClean fingerprints from windows, doors, mirrors and fixtures as needed. \nClean common areas as needed. \nClean resident rooms, bathrooms as scheduled. \nComplete maintenance slips and submit. \nMop stairways as required (where applicable).\nPolish and clean trash / linen chutes (where applicable).\nLaunder all linens (where applicable). \nAccomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. \nMaintain all equipment and supplies in proper order. \nRepresent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which promotes a positive marketing environment.\nSupports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy. \nAt Rose Senior Living, we understand that our employees work best when they are healthy, happy, and excited about the here and now, as well as the future.
