Here, your skills are recognized, your contributions matter, and your work has a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors every day.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and quality of our community through professional painting, wallcovering, and general maintenance services.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerform interior and exterior painting and wallcovering projects throughout the community\nPrepare surfaces by patching, sanding, caulking, and performing drywall repairs as needed\nRestore apartment homes to like-new condition for new residents\nMaintain the appearance of high-visibility common areas and community spaces\nComplete projects efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards\nFollow all safety procedures to protect residents, visitors, and team members\nMaintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in excellent condition\nAdditional Maintenance Support\nRespond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders\nAssist with routine building maintenance and emergency repairs as needed\nSupport repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, and other building systems when qualified\nParticipate in the on-call rotation and assist during community emergencies\nWhat We're Looking For\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nThree to five years of professional painting experience\nExperience with commercial and/or residential painting and wallcovering\nStrong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and drywall repair\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nDependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented\nAbility to communicate effectively in English\nWillingness to respond to occasional after-hours or emergency situations\nPreferred Qualifications\nSenior living, hospitality, apartment, healthcare, or commercial property experience\nWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds (more with assistance)\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and ladder use\nAbility to work both indoors and outdoors\nWhy Join Galleria Woods?\nConsistent full-time schedule with stable hours\nCompetitive pay based on experience\nSupportive leadership team and positive work environment\nOpportunity to expand your maintenance and trade skills\nBeautiful, well-maintained community you'll be proud to support\nMeaningful work serving and interacting with seniors every day\nBuild More Than Beautiful Spaces.
