and support infrastructure operations and ensure seamless deployments.\nExplore and evaluate solutions to meet business needs that lead to implementing solutions and evaluating the outcome.\nLimit system downtime by defining and enforcing operations and development standards.\nPerform regular maintenance and monitoring for cloud infrastructure systems and services.\nMonitor application performance and service-level indicators to ensure that objectives are met.\nRespond and initiate incident responses for high-severity site reliability issues.\nImplement and enforce infrastructure and application security controls.\nResearch new solutions, improvement areas, and best-practices.\nDefine, document, and enforce processes and standards around cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.\nDevelop and train Site Reliability Engineers on technologies and best practices.\nMonitor and steward infrastructure and development-related costs.\nInteract with product vendors to evaluate solutions and negotiate contract agreements.\nSkills Needed to Succeed\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain relationships and partnerships.\nMaintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.\nClearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way.\nAbility to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve.\nAbility to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.\nStrong leadership skills and understanding on developing and guiding others.\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n7+years of related work experience.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.\nProfessional certifications in cloud engineering programs
