We offer the opportunity for professional accomplishment and growth with diverse, talented, and collaborative Team Members in a dynamic work environment at a company with an indisputably important mission-to help people live healthier lives.Position Summary\nThe Assistant General Counsel strengthens Life Time by providing legal support to help clients advance their business goals and objectives while mitigating legal risk, including cross functional contribution to business initiatives.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nProvides advice and counsel to internal clients\n\nDrafts and negotiates letters of intent, leases, purchase agreements, amendments, declarations, easements, correspondence relating to real estate transactions and other real estate documentation\n\nReviews title and survey and due diligence\n\nPosition Requirements\nFour-year undergraduate degree\n\nJ.D. from an accredited law school, with strong academic credentials\n\n8+ years of experience in commercial retail/office real estate leasing, acquisition, disposition and development\n\nExtensive experience leasing, drafting and negotiating retail and office leases, subleases, amendments and termination agreements is critical\n\nExtensive experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating real estate development/acquisition or disposition documentation\n\nExcellent academic and law firm/in-house credentials\n\nAn innovative approach to legal issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives\n\nA high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment\n\nExperience spearheading and managing multiple real estate and development transactions with little required oversight in a fast paced, high growth company.
