Join our team.Position Summary\nThe Security Engineer should be a dynamic, analytical, proactive individual with strong technical and communications skills. The Security Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, configuration and innovation of large-scale security infrastructure and related components across all Life Time corporate and fitness locations. The candidate will take on an engineering, innovative, and advisory role; assist management with budget preparation; development of guidelines, standards and procedures; project deployment of enterprise security systems and services; to minimize risk against Life Time and its members.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities\nBuild security solutions in support of Life Time's strategies.\nCreate new ways to solve existing production security issues.\nPerform vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments.\nStay current with security technology and understand the relevance and value of new technology to the business.\nDevelop automation scripts to handle and track incidents.\nAssist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices.\nInvestigate intrusion incidents, conduct forensic investigations and mount incident responses\nProvide documentation for processes, topologies, knowledge-base, etc.\nAnalyze logs, trends, identify deficiencies and suggest solutions\nCollaborate with colleagues on authentication, authorization and encryption solutions\nTest security solutions using industry standard analysis criteria.\nCollaborate with partner teams to develop consistent technical solutions, implementation activities and support processes.\nSupports information security and compliance activities\nMinimum Required Qualifications \nEducation:\nBA or BSs Degree in a technical field or related field\nYears of Experience:\n5 years of experience, with an emphasis on cybersecurity\nPay\nThis is a salaried position starting at $94,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $129,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits\nAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:\nA fully subsidized membership\n\nDiscounts on Life Time products and services\n\n401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)\n\nTraining and professional development\n\nPaid sick leave where required by law\n\nFull-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:\nMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage\n\nShort term and long term disability insurance\n\nLife insurance\n\nPre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plans\n\nParental leave and adoption assistance\n\nPaid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leave\n\nDeferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income threshold\n\nLife Time is a place for everyone.
