You will oversee the department's budget, staffing, and all projects.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nRecruits for the Ops department and offers input to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions\nMaintains the monthly, quarterly and annual department budget and submits monthly financial reports to the General Manager\nEnsures staff keeps the locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean andwelcoming at all times\nCompletes ops payroll and ensures labor costs are within the budgetary guidelines\nCoaches, manages and schedules up to 40 team members\nTrains staff through orientation, direction, and feedback\nOversees maintenance and repair projects of the club, which includes communication with all departments to survey the condition\nPosition Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2 year of management experience\nBuilding operations experience\nCPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire\nCertified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 6 months of hire\nAbility to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs\nAbility to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time\nPreferred Requirements\nCollege degree in business, hospitality, or related field\nHealth and Fitness operations experience\nProficient Computer Skills with Microsoft Office\nBackground in the Military is beneficial\nPay\nThis is a salaried position starting at $58,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $80,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
