They provide leadership for the operations department in the fulfillment of Life Time’s mission statement. This includes, but is not limited to, being responsible for all Fac Ops Team Members' ongoing training and scheduling, handling and overseeing the department's payroll budget and the recruiting/staffing and training.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities\nResponsible for ensuring locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean, tidy and welcoming at all times - 45%\nCoaches, manages and schedules up to 30 team members - 20%\nResponsible for training staff through orientation, direction, and feedback - 20%\nRecruits for the Operations department and gives recommendations to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions - 5%\nResponsible for maintaining the monthly, quarterly and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager - 5%\nCompletes operations payroll and ensures labor costs fall within budgetary guidelines - 5%\nMinimum Required Qualifications \nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nYears of Experience:\n2 years of management experience\nBuilding operations experience\nLicenses / Certifications / Registrations:\nCPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire\nCertified Pool Operations (CPO) license within 6 months of hire\nOther:\nAbility to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs\nAbility to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time\nPreferred Qualifications\nCollege degree in business, hospitality, or related field\nHealth and Fitness operations experience\nProficient Computer Skills with Microsoft Office\nBackground in the Military is beneficial\nPay\nThis is an hourly position with wages starting at $30.75 and pays up to $41.25, based on experience and qualifications.
