They organize team members and departments to complete projects and ensure the club facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently, while maintaining and repairing fitness equipment and all building related support systems.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintains indoor and outdoor club cleanliness and safety\nEnsures equipment on the fitness floor is working properly\nMaintains the building, pools, electrical work, heating and cooling components and grounds\nRepairs basic plumbing, electrical systems and hardware\nMaintains the monthly and annual department budget\nProvides hiring, promotion, disciplinary and termination recommendations to the General Manager\nRecruits, hires, trains, schedules and manages Facility Operations team members\nManages inventory and labor costs according to budgetary guidelines\nPosition Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2 to 3 years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent training\nCertified Pool Operator License (CPO) within six months of hire date, and CPR/AED certification required within the first thirty days after hire date\nAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nProficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Office\nPreferred Requirements\nCollege degree in business, hospitality or related field\nSupervisory experience\nHealth and Fitness operations experience\nLife Time is a place for everyone.
