As a Packaging Technician, you will set up and operate packaging equipment in the final manufacturing stages of Lifecore products. During the course of your shift you will:
- Set up and operate equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products
- Inspect Lifecore products
- Document completed work during the packaging of the products
- Practice proper precautions and procedures when handling chemicals
- Participate in the review of Lifecore procedures
- Identify and communicate quality issues
- Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualifications
To qualify as a Packaging Technician, you'll need the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures.
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Able to stand for the majority of your shift
- It's great if you also have at least 6 months of packaging experience, preferably in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
Starting pay: $20.75/hour
