This role will lead facility-related projects, support manufacturing operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Lifecore’s Quality Management System.\nIn this critical role, you will:\nLead and coordinate facility engineering projects, including planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful delivery of objectives.\nProvide technical leadership and support for facility infrastructure systems (HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, filtration systems, motors, and security systems).\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and manage facility projects, preventative maintenance activities, and work orders.\nLead and support technical investigations related to facility equipment and system performance.\nEvaluate facility systems and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.\nAct as the primary engineering resource for facility design changes, including mechanical, electrical, and layout modifications.\nProvide technical guidance and oversight to contractors, vendors, architects, and engineering firms supporting capital projects.\nSupport planning and management of Facility Engineering and Maintenance budgets.\nProvide work direction and support to maintenance personnel to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.\nThis position could be a great fit for you if you have a passion for facility engineering along with:\nB.S. in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.\n5-8 years of facility engineering experience, preferably in a regulated industry.\nDemonstrated experience leading engineering projects from concept through execution.\nExtensive experience with cleanroom environments (ISO Class 5-8) and associated compliance requirements.\nStrong knowledge of pure water systems, including distillation, WFI, reverse osmosis, and UV disinfection.\nWorking knowledge of GMPs and regulatory requirements impacting pharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing.\nProven leadership and project management skills.\nComprehensive understanding of standard maintenance practices and procedures.\nExperience authoring technical documentation (SOPs, PM procedures, protocols, etc.).\nIn-depth knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, filters, motors, steam systems, and air handling systems.\nBasic understanding of electrical systems, including low/high voltage troubleshooting, VFDs, and building automation systems.\nFamiliarity with validation methodologies.\nProficiency in AutoCAD (P&IDs, layouts, and related drawings).\nExperience supporting regulatory inspections and customer audits.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nStarting Salary: $110,000 - $128,000 annually with consideration for relevant experience\nLifecore offers a highly competitive total rewards package, including:\nOpportunities to learn and grow with a well-respected company\nCompetitive compensation with annual reviews and a company-wide incentive bonus\nBenefits that start the first of the month after you join Lifecore as a full-time employee:3 medical insurance plans to fit your needs and budget including an HSA Plan with a generous company contribution.\nLow cost dental and vision insurance\nShort term disability, long term disability and life insurance all 100% company paid\n3 weeks PTO in the first year (increases to 4 weeks after just 2 years!)\n9 paid company holidays plus 2 personal holidays\nPaid family leave\nTuition reimbursement\n401k plan with company matching contribution\n\nMeet Lifecore Biomedical, LLC:\nLifecore Biomedical, Inc.
