responsibilities will include: \nConducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing. \nPrepare and process samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.\nPerforming, interpreting and releasing results, while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information. \nIdentifying incidents and non-conformities, participating in the development of effective corrective action plans, escalating as appropriate and driving continuous improvement. \nAssisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology. \nParticipating in problem solving in work organization and workflow. \nAdhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.\nWhat you will bring to the role:\nCollege diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience. \nCSMLS registered and in good standing.\nExcellent communication skills to enable you to relate with a wide variety of people. \nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while adhering to LifeLabs standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail who demonstrates curiosity. \nAbility to distinguish multiple colors.\nStrong computer skills in MS Office products, as well as laboratory analyzers. \nProblem solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow-up on issues. \nAbility to maintain the strictest standards of safety, patient privacy and
