Assume responsibility for all DM activities (from study start-up to database lock) according to client quality expectations, within project timelines and budgets. Work directly with Sponsors to understand their direct requirements and lead implementation of those requirements. Regularly review client specific process to ensure they remain optimal for Sponsor and Fortrea.\n\nSummary of Responsibilities:\n\nLead studies including (but not limited to) a combination of healthy volunteer and patient populations, multi-site, client management required or reduced timelines. Ability to organize and effectively prioritize workload and deliverables.\n\nBe accountable for all DM deliverables as assigned per the established timeline; providing instruction to their DM study team(s) and review of their study team’s output to ensure the highest quality, while adjusting resource allocations accordingly.\n\nEnsure that all allocated projects are carried out in strict accordance with the relevant protocols, global harmonized SOPs, and the specified standards of GCPs.\n\nWork with the Project Manager(s) to build timelines to meet contracted milestones by communicating with leads in different disciplines and the full project team as necessary, including at study initiation meetings.\n\nProvide DM project team leadership and accountability; leads data focused internal project team meetings; meets frequently with the study leads of EDC Design, SAS Programming, Statistics, and PK to ensure that all deliverables are planned and coordinated intradepartmental; proactively identifies potential risks/mitigations, effectively communicates data-driven discussions in order to achieve database lock dates; keeps the Project Manager apprised of project progress.\n\nMaintain awareness of other Biometrics functional group deliverables to be able to support risk and mitigation strategies, including impact on DM resources or deliverables and consult with Project Manager (or designee) and/or functional group management as necessary.\n\nKeep Project Manager (or designee), Biometrics management team and/or sponsor services informed of pertinent project or sponsor related information (i.e., budget status, work scope changes, timeline impacts). Performs other related duties as assigned by Line Management.\n\nDevelop and maintain client relationships and review client satisfaction surveys.\n\nTrack scope changes and work with the Project Manager to ensure that Sponsor approval is received, and the scope change processed.\n\nProvides leadership, mentorship, and coaching in DM related clinical trial processes to the internal study team.\n\nProvide support to DM managers on the performance evaluation of other team members, provide constructive feedback to aid in career development, interpersonal skills and achievement of competency standards.\n\nAccountable for learning new DM technologies and applied processes, keeping up to date with industry wide technology and feasibility for process improvement at Fortrea.\n\nMaintain accurate records of all work undertaken.\n\nPerform reconciliation of the clinical database against safety data, laboratory data or any other third-party data as appropriate. Utilize local laboratory systems and batch data load facilities where appropriate.\n\nRepresent DM and where necessary overall Biometrics in new business opportunities.\n\nAttend and action client or internal audits as appropriate and resolve all issues within an appropriate timeframe. Address client comments with the study team.\n\nActively promote Biometrics services to sponsors whenever possible.\n\nAll other duties as needed or assigned.\n\nQualifications (Minimum Required):\n\nUniversity / college degree.\n\nFortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.\n\nExperience and/or education plus relevant work experience, equating to a bachelor's degree will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.\n\nFluent in English, both written and verbal.\n\nBe able to be a primary data managment role in complex In-house studies (not just oversight) for ~3 years or 5+ years supporting hands on data review and reconciliation of EDC, Vendors, eCOA, IRT, SAE's, etc.\n\nBe experienced in In-house study start up, conduct, and closeout.\n\nBe proactive and an independent worker who can mitigate problems before/as they arise.\n\nBe a DM subject matter expert to other FSPs that will support the study\n\nKnow how to create/update Data Management Documents like Data Management Plan, eCRF Completion Guidelines, Data Review Plan, SAE Reconciliation Plan and Edit Check Specifications.\n\nPerform UAT of the EDC database and data validation listings.\n\nProficient in complex external data reconciliation including but not limited to eCOA, PK, local lab ranges, Biomarkers, etc. and communicate with vendors on issues and query resolution.\n\nPerform EDC data cleaning\n\nRaise queries in EDC based on monthly cross functional data review findings\n\nMaintain issue log\n\nUpload documents to eTMF\n\nPerform metrics reporting at team meetings\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nTeam player with an ability to work on fast paced studies\n\nProtocol deviation recon experien\n\nHelp with Database Lock tasks\n\nExperience (Minimum Required):\n\n6 to 8 years of DM experience with minimum of 1 years of direct sponsor management.\n\nExperience in handling customer concerns and experience with managing Scope of Work and budgets is preferred.\n\nKnowledge of clinical trial process, DM, clinical operations, biometrics, and system applications to support operations.\n\nTime management skill and ability to adhere to project productivity metrics and timelines.\n\nAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate with peers.\n\nGood organizational ability, communication, and interpersonal skills.\n\nTeam working skills and good collaborator skills.\n\nKnowledge of medical terminology.\n\nPreferred Qualifications Include:\n\nUniversity / college degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology or related subjects preferred.\n\nKnowledge of science or a scientific background is preferred.\n\nThorough knowledge of Fortrea, the overall structure of the organization and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\n\n3+ years of Electronic Data Capture experience.\n\nPrior Veeva EDC experience is a plus.\n\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\n\nOffice and home-based work environment.\n\nMay require overtime and weekend work as required.\n\nShould be willing to work in flexible shifts as per business requirement.\n\nBenefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Company bonus where applicable.\n\nPay Range: $85,000-$95,000\nApplication Deadline: 10/10/2026\n#LI Remote#CS1Learn more about our EEO & Accommodations request here.\n\nThis job is curated by Lifelancer.Lifelancer is a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma and IT.
