In this role, you will take true E2E ownership of Hungarian payroll calculations while collaborating closely with supportive senior team members to develop your skills in multi-country European (EMEA) operations.\n\nBacked by accessible leadership and modern tools, this is an ideal role for a driven professional seeking continuous growth. You will step beyond local statutory processing to tackle new intellectual challenges, building deep expertise in international compliance, vendor management, and complex cross-border payroll.What You'll Do\nEnd-to-End Processing: Execute the full payroll cycle for a designated portfolio of several EU countries, including data input, validation, calculation, and final transmission to external payroll providers\n\nData Integrity & Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of payroll data against source systems. Investigate and resolve all discrepancies quickly and accurately\n\nTax & Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local tax, social security, and statutory requirements\n\nVariable Compensation: Accurately process complex payroll inputs, including bonuses, commissions, equity transactions (RSUs/Stock Options), expatriate allowances, and complex termination payments\n\nAnalytical Support: Utilize strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)\n\nCustomer Service: Provide prompt, professional, and confidential support to employees regarding complex payroll calculations, deductions, and tax inquiries, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction\n\nInternal Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (HR, Finance) to ensure accurate employee classifications, benefits administration, and payroll transactions\n\nAudit Support: Assist with internal and external payroll audits by preparing necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls (e.g., SOX compliance)\n\nAd hoc – perform ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by the payroll manager\n\nRequirements\n1+ years of professional experience managing end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in a multinational environment\n\nProven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis and reconciliation techniques\n\nExperience working with a major HRIS system (Workday) would be an advantage\n\nDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment\n\nFluency in verbal and written English is required\n\nInterviewing with Veeva\nWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
