Manages and supports project performance with specific emphasis on financial management of the program and progressive responsibility for client communications. Provides internal consulting on project management issues and identifies opportunities for process and efficiency improvement. Identifies and escalates risks identified to project timelines and meeting financial objectives for both internal goals and client expectations.\n\nA day in the Life:\n\nProvides oversight and coordination of study initiation.\n\nUnderstands protocol language and translates to internal systems and processes.\n\nPrepares for and facilitates internal meetings; attends external meetings\n\nCoordinates stability launches\n\nMaintains project set-up and sample test scheduling\n\nEvaluates and manages project timelines and deliverables\n\nUnderstands and adheres to contract language, support contract management process\n\nManages project setup and financials\n\nResponsible for projections, forecast and revenue recognition for fee for service, hourly or FTE programs, adhering to client budgets and utilization targets, adjusting forecasts or project priority weekly as necessary; communicate routine FTE utilization and spend.\n\nProgressive responsibility for internal and external communications, beginning with project financial coordination.\n\nAssists client relationship manager with meeting minutes and action items to support client projects\n\nManages study documents and testing directives, shares data/reports\n\nSupports fee for service and hourly contract review processes\n\nProvides/Supports training of Program Manager I\n\nInvolvement in cross-functional initiatives/process improvements\n\nKeys to Success:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification\n\nExperience\nPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3+ years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.\n\nYears of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
