Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.\nHow you’ll contribute\nThe Maintenance Engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.\nAMaintenance Engineer who excels in this role:\nInstalls, tests, maintains, operates and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.\nPerforms major and minor maintenance work.\nPerforms utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.\nAssists with inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.\nPerforms preventative maintenance procedures on equipment, building systems, and utility systems as assigned.\nMoves items within/between locations and from/to storage.\nAssembles and relocates furniture.\nPerforms other job duties as assigned.\nWhat we’re looking for\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nTwo years institutional/commercial maintenance experience required\nBasic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or electronic systems required\nSchedule\nM-F 8am- 4:30pm\nOn Call from 5:00 pm - 8:00 am every 3 weeks (call shifts won’t start for at least a minimum of 6 months after being hired)\nOccasional OT & Weekend work for events\nWhy join us\nWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
