As a Nurse Technician, you will play an important role in supporting nurses and the interdisciplinary care team while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment.\nThe ICU provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex and critical medical and surgical conditions. If you are seeking an opportunity to expand your healthcare experience while making a meaningful impact on critically ill patients and their families, we encourage you to apply and join our ICU team.\nHow you’ll contribute\nA Nurse Technician (NT) who excels in this role:\nParticipates in the Patient Care Team’s delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patients’ spiritual and cultural differences. \nConsiders factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in the delivery of patient care. \nOrients patients and families to the room and call bell. \nUpon admission, obtains initial vital signs, height, and weight. \nRecords daily I&O, vital signs, and food intake into the electronic medical record. \nTransports patients via appropriate means in a safe, dignified manner and adheres to patient activity restrictions. \nEstablishes positive relationships with patients and families and reports patient/family concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team members. \nWhy join us\nWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
