Come work where you are appreciated for who you are, not just what you can do.\nHow you’ll contribute\nA Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:\nFollow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.\nSafely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.\nCommunicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.\nObserve and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.\nLift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.\nWhy join us\nWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:\n6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting strongly recommended; willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation\n\nCPR certification\n\nEffective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs); observation and basic documentation; reliability, teamwork, and time management.\n\nMore about Sovah Health\nSovah Health Acute Rehab is a 10-bed, intensive rehabilitation unit with short length of stay and high functional outcomes.
