Own delivery by leading cross-functional coordination, managing schedules, risks, issues, and changes, and maintaining communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate related projects and workstreams as needed to support overall program objectives and successful execution.\nEssential Functions:\nReviews project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project\nDefines project goals, objectives, and scopeConfers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, and responsibilities\nManages work plan for each phase of project/program\nMonitors activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget\nIs responsible for maintaining the Master Program schedule and presenting to customers when applicable\nReviews and distributes project reports for management, customer or other stakeholders\nConfers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems\nManages project activities with government regulatory or other agencies\nRepresents organization as a prime contact on assigned projects\nInteracts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations\nIdentifies, assesses, and develops migitation plans \nQualifications\nJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):\nProven expertise in project planning methodology and leading a matrixed team through a project life cycle\nAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask\nStrong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication\nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail\nExcellent teamwork skills\nHigh degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in the absence of specific direction\nMust be proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nExperience with classified programs, ideally as Facility Security Officer (FSO)\nExperience in Export Compliance\nHighly proficient in risk management, DoD Contracts and project management\nProven ability to improve Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPARS) scores\nEducation, Certifications, and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nBA/BS in Engineering preferred but not required\n5-10+ years of related experience to include project management preferred\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nWorking conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing and office environment.\nAll employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
