From large multi-aircraft projects to small custom projects, LifePort supplies the industry’s largest aerospace OEMs and end users with the finest aviation solutions today.\nSchedule: Mon- Thurs 4/10s 4:00pm-2:30am\nShift Differential: $2.00\nPosition Overview:\nTests and inspects products at various stages of inspection process.Compiles and evaluates inspection data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to interpret engineering blue prints, source control drawings, and OEM part verification.\nConduct First Article Inspections on all detail parts per AS9102.\nSelects articles for tests as specified stages in inspection process and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics. \nRecords test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.\nEvaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards\nRecommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability\nQualifications\nJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):\nAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask\nExcellent organization skills with strong attention to detail\nExcellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required\nExcellent communication both written and verbal\nWork independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative\nMust be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)\nProficient with ERP/MRP systems \nKnowledge of alloys and material certifications for product acceptance\nMust be proficient using most precision inspection tools to obtain measurements\nFamiliarity with the established industry and regulatory certifications (AS9100, ISO 13485, and FDA, as applicable)\nEducation, Certifications and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED \n3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nWorking conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.\nAll employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
