Also assists in other areas of the warehouse including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: Not Applicable for this position\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nPulls appropriate stock inventory into pallets and transports pallets utilizing forklifts to and from docks; racks and bulk storage areas per facility standards.\nEnsures the proper pallets are selected and put away in correct location.\nAssists in other areas of the warehouse as needed including loading/unloading of trucks.\nFollows proper maintenance and safety procedures to ensure safe operation, upkeep and storage of equipment.\nMoves pallets in and out of the stretch wrapper area.\nMeets or exceeds performance and productivity goals.\nAdditional duties as assigned\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nAbility to follow instructions, read and speak English \nBasic math and measurement skills\nMinimum one year warehouse experience working on forklifts\nMust be able to operator a Sit-down Forklift and Stand-up forklift\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred\nSome experience necessary\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to lift 50lbs\nStrong physical endurance\nAbility to be on your feet for an 8-hour shift\nAbility to kneel and maneuver through plant equipment\nLifeway Foods, Inc is a growing Chicago-based beverage manufacturer with 40 years of experience.
