In this position, you will not only manage a sophisticated multi-cloud, multi-product environment across AWS and GCP (EU, US, and AP), but you will also drive its architectural evolution.\nYou will act as the essential foundation for the reliability and performance of a diverse real estate portfolio (Trovit, Mitula, Lamudi, FazWaz, Wasi, Proppit, and DotProperty). Success in this role requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to influence and align multiple engineering teams around cloud best practices.\nTechnical Leadership & Developer Enablement\nAct as a proactive technical reference, influencing architectural decisions and fostering a DevOps culture across multiple development teams.\n\nUnderstanding programmers' daily challenges and guiding them with deep empathy.\n\nTake the initiative to identify systemic bottlenecks and drive cross-team projects to improve overall platform reliability and deployment speed.\n\n Infrastructure Management (AWS & GCP)\nArchitect, manage, and operate AWS/GCP services, ensuring seamless interoperability between platforms with Cross Connects and VPNs.\n\nDesign and provision scalable infrastructure for development teams using Terraform / Terragrunt and GitLab pipelines.\n\nManage complex DNS zones (Route53, Cloudflare) across multiple domains and brands.\n\nDrive CDN/WAF configurations (CloudFront, Cloudflare), including geo-blocking and bot management.\n\nCloud Financial Operations & DevOps Engineering\nLead investigations to optimise cloud costs through traffic analysis and CloudTrail optimization.\n\nPartner with engineering teams to analyze cost anomalies and influence them to adopt cost-effective architectural choices.\n\nCollaborate empathetically with programmers on product development, resolving intricate issues related to application configuration, deployment, and debugging.\n\nSecurity & Access Management\nDrive AWS Organization account onboarding and enforce security best practices (Control Tower enrollment, SCP policies, billing profiles).\n\nGovern AWS IAM users, SSO groups, cross-account roles, and permission policies across 15+ AWS accounts.\n\nRespond to and mitigate AWS security and CNAPP alerts.\n\nMonitoring, Observability & Incident Response in On-Call\nDesign and evolve monitoring and observability stacks: Prometheus, Alertmanager, CloudWatch.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotations, providing expert response to complex production incidents.\n\nTroubleshoot deep performance issues across the infrastructure stack, guiding multiple teams to a swift resolution.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nPlease keep in mind that, although we would love to meet you, to proceed with your application, a validworking permit for Spain is needed.\n7+ years of overall engineering experience, with 5+ years managing large-scale production infrastructure in AWS.\n\nHigh Initiative: A proven track record of proactively identifying architectural gaps and driving solutions from conception to deployment.\n\nInfluence & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions, mentor peers, and foster a culture of engineering excellence across multiple teams.\n\nStrong skills in Linux and Open Source software.\n\nExpert-level experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) building tools, especially Terraform.\n\nDeep, hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.\n\nSolid and successful background in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.\n\nAdvanced experience in designing and building Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.\n\nEnglish language skills (team communication is bilingual ES/EN).\n\nWhat's a plus but not mandatory:\nConfiguration management tools like Ansible.\n\nExperience in logging systems with EFK or similar.\n\nKnowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python or Java.\n\nExperience with Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, bot management).\n\nFamiliarity with DigitalOcean environments and managed databases.\n\nSome of the things that will help you to perform at your best (aka perks!):\nRemote work.\n\nSalary Range: 50k-72k.\n\nPrivate health insurance to support you to be at your best.\n\nFlexible time off.
