Work with a group of exceptionally talented artists and animators creating animations that complement and enhance the slot player’s experience.\nEssential Job Functions\nCreate art/animation that tells a story with meaning through movement\nWorks closely with the Art Director and the team to conceptualize, storyboard, prototype and ultimately create high-quality final game art/animations in a timely and efficient manner\nProvides creative solutions to artistic and technical problems\nSupports engineering development by updating and modifying artwork to meet technical requirements\nCreate and animate unique emotive characters and immersive worlds\nCommunicate game direction through storyboards and animatics\nWork quickly and efficiently as part of a team, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure is crucial.\nAll other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nTraining and/or Experience\n2+ years of professional experience in 2D/3D animation and/or motion graphic design\nGaming industry experience is preferred but not required\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nProficiency in industry standard 3D packages (Maya, Blender, 3DMax)\nProficient in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop\nAdaptable to AI workflows\nProficiency in compositing and rotoscoping a plus\nFamiliarity with Unity a plus\nFamiliarity with shaders and shader creation/coding a plus\nBuilds understanding of business expectations\nHave a strong sense of design, motion, and timing\nHave a strong sense of storyboarding for 2D/3D animation\nAbility to work well with others in a team environment\nAbility to receive art direction and provide multiple design solutions\nAbility to adapt to new technologies\nEnjoy working in a creative environment\nLearns, and contributes where possible to company culture, and finds opportunities to reinforce L&W values.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
