This position holder will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating software products in an agile development environment and will collaborate with other engineers to bring innovation to the gaming products.\nEssential Job Functions\nBecome part of a team to develop new features and functionalities for Light & Wonder products, associated tools, and utilities\nResearch new technologies and incorporates them into new and existing Gaming Platform products to take products to the next level\nDevelop and produce new features and enhancing existing features for providing better product experience to the gaming customer/players\nWork on refactoring, improvement, and optimization of existing code base\nDesign and build reusable code and libraries\nEmbrace best coding practices, such as secure coding guidelines, test driven development, continuous integration workflow\nDocument all tasks performed and provide solutions to the issues and documenting processes using available tools\nProvide prompt resolution to bugs/issues by using debugging skill\nAny other reasonable activity required by management to work on defined tasks that sometimes require the application of independent judgment\nQualifications\nTechnical Skills\nDemonstrable knowledge of C/C++\nKnowledge of operating system’s basics\nDemonstrable knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts & Principles\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nExcellent teamwork skills\nExcellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.\nKnowledge of C#\nFamiliarity with debugger\nFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, perforce etc\nKnowledge of scripting language like PowerShell, python, batch scripting etc\nEducation\nUniversity (4 years) degree in computer science, computer engineering or information systems\nYears of Related Experience\nYears of experience 1 to 2 years\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
