Job Summary: As a member of the Learning & Development team, this role shapes and executes a performance-focused learning strategy that strengthens individual and organizational capability. Based in India and part of the global COE, this role serves as the regional L&D partner for APAC (including India). The role partners with business leaders, Business Partners (BPs), and global stakeholders to diagnose capability needs and translate business priorities into skills-based, scalable development solutions. The role enables workforce capability and adoption of critical skills, particularly AI, by translating enterprise tools and strategy into practical applications, learning experiences, and sustained behavior change.

Job Description:

  • Serves as a consultative Learning and Development (L&D) partner with business leaders and Business Partners (BPs), leading discovery conversations to assess performance gaps, identify root causes, and distinguish between learning needs and challenges related to processes, management, or organizational effectiveness
  • Translates business priorities into targeted capability-building strategies aligned to measurable performance outcomes
  • Collaborates with the Director of L&D to co-own the global L&D curriculum roadmap, ensuring alignment with global COE priorities from concept through post-launch evaluation using evidence-based methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) across eLearning, video, facilitated, blended, and microlearning formats
  • Leads global and regional initiatives to enhance AI literacy, translating enterprise AI capabilities into practical learning experiences, role-based applications, and adoption support
  • Utilizes skills, intelligence, and external market insights (e.g., Lightcast, LinkedIn Talent Insights) to identify capability gaps, inform workforce planning, and recommend emerging skill priorities
  • Plays a crucial role in shaping and integrating capability development within performance management and talent processes, which include goal setting, check-ins, and 360-degree feedback surveys, while ensuring alignment between business priorities, skills, and individual performance expectations.
  • Leads the design and development of impactful, scalable learning solutions, including manager and leadership capability initiatives, in collaboration with SMEs, vendors, and delivery teams
  • Develops and implements measurement frameworks, including Kirkpatrick Level 1-3 evaluation models, to assess capability growth, behavior change, and business impact
  • Partners with the Advanced Learning & Development Specialist to create and manage learning paths, enrollment rules, and completion requirements, designing integrated learning experiences that leverage LinkedIn Learning, short-form content, and SME-led sessions
  • Manages relationships with external learning vendors, content providers, and Procurement to ensure solutions are high-quality, relevant, and aligned with business needs, while maintaining budgets, evaluating performance, and identifying opportunities to consolidate demand across business units for improved pricing and quality
  • Supports enterprise change, organizational development (OD), and engagement initiatives by embedding capability-building into transformation programs, strategic planning efforts, and survey action planning in partnership with HR and engagement teams
  • Facilitates in-person and virtual learning programs for India-based employees and partners with local HRBPs and business leaders to identify regional capability needs and translate them into enterprise-aligned solutions

Desired Experience:

  • At least seven years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, including a minimum of three years in a consultative role supporting a global organization, with a strong preference for those with experience in the APAC and/or EMEA regions
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience driving adoption in complex, medium-to-large, matrixed global organizations; gaming, technology, entertainment, or similar sectors is beneficial
  • Experience enabling AI workforce transformation initiatives
  • Proficient in contemporary learning methods, including eLearning, facilitator-led sessions, short-form videos, blended learning, and microlearning
  • Proficiency with at least one content authoring tool: Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Canva, MS PowerPoint, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Workday LMS and LinkedIn Learning administration, or equivalent enterprise LMS; experience configuring learning paths and reporting dashboards preferred
  • Familiarity with skills taxonomy design, role profiling, or competency framework development

Work Model: Hybrid

Location: Bangalore, India

Global Scope: This role supports all LNW business units globally as a COE enterprise contributor, with primary regional accountability for APAC and secondary accountability for EMEA delivery in partnership with the Director of L&D.

Key Competencies:

  • Effectively influences senior stakeholders with diplomacy and tact. Translates Learning and Development (L&D) strategies into business language and presents learning data as actionable insights.
  • Diagnoses business problems before proposing solutions and prefers short-form or self-service options over default workshops. Acts as a performance partner instead of just taking orders.
  • Builds partnerships across business units, HR, Procurement, and global teams, effectively navigating complex time zones.
  • Designs learning experiences suitable for diverse populations in APAC, EMEA, and AMERS. Adapts content for cultural contexts and promotes diversity and inclusion.
  • Actively experiments with AI tools for content design and delivery, modeling a proactive digital learning mindset.
  • Focuses on improving program and team metrics with a positive, hands-on approach. Drives projects independently, measuring success through business outcomes.
  • Balances fine details and the bigger picture, ensuring quality in research, content, and communications.
  • Quickly earns trust from senior leaders and engages confidently with VPs and Directors, recognized as a strategic contributor.
