Working with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Finance, you’ll turn complex data into clear recommendations that improve planning and inventory decisions.\nWe’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, asking the right questions and understanding what the numbers are really telling us. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your area, improve how we forecast and report, and help build a more proactive, data-driven approach to planning.\nWorking pattern: This role is based at our Chadderton site and requires on-site attendance four days per week, enabling close collaboration with our warehouse and operational teams.\nWe're looking for people who share our values:\nDare to be Bold - We bring courage to work every day and aim for the extraordinary.\nUphold Integrity - We act with accountability, respect, and honesty in everything we do.\nNever Settle - We continuously challenge ourselves to improve and innovate.\nCelebrate Perspectives - We value diverse thinking and different viewpoints.\nWin as a Team - We support one another and succeed together\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn and maintain demand forecasts, using historical demand, inventory, sales and operational data to anticipate future requirements.\nInventory reporting and Ageing inventory analysis.\nAnalyse demand patterns and translate data into clear recommendations that support inventory and operational decision-making.\nManage forecast accuracy performance, systematically tracking trends and identifying the root causes of major variances against actual demand.\nProactively identify potential stock shortages, excess inventory and emerging demand risks, recommending actions to address them.\nDevelop and maintain planning reports, dashboards and KPIs that give stakeholders clear visibility of demand and inventory performance.\nPartner with Sales and other stakeholders to understand upcoming demand and challenge assumptions where the data suggests a different outlook.\nWork closely with Warehouse, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to align inventory plans with supply and operational requirements.\nConduct root cause analysis to understand forecast and inventory variances and identify sustainable improvements.\nUse data to challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, inventory management and operational efficiency.\nSupport the development of more automated, standardised and data-driven planning processes.\nWhat You'll Bring\nExperience in material planning, inventory planning, supply chain planning, demand planning or a similar analytical role.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and turn your findings into practical actions.\nConfidence working with large amounts of data and using it to support decision-making.\nStrong Excel skills and experience using reporting, planning or ERP systems.\nAn understanding of inventory management, forecasting and supply chain principles.\nA naturally curious mindset with the confidence to question assumptions and investigate what is driving the numbers.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and investigate forecast or inventory variances.\nGreat organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities in a busy operational environment.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain data and recommendations clearly.\nA proactive approach to continuous improvement and finding better ways of working.\nBonus Points If You Have\nExperience with Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable ERP and reporting tools.\nExperience creating dashboards, KPIs, or automated reports.\nKnowledge of inventory optimisation, forecasting models, or S&OP processes.\nQualifications\nHow You'll Grow\nBuild your expertise across the full order lifecycle, from quote through to customer delivery.\nDevelop your project management, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.\nTake ownership of more complex forecasts and help improve how we plan, report and manage inventory.\nThis job description should not be interpreted as all-inclusive.
