This is a hands-on role that will involve working closely with developers and product owners to understand the impact of changes and ensuring these are fully tested and test results are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.\nThis role would ideally suit someone with previous experience working in a continuous delivery environment with an ability to assess requirements and define test cases to cover both requirements and their regression impact.\nKey Tasks\nWork with product owners and developers to ensure that requirements are effectively tested.\nWork with QA leads to ensure new development work is being considered in regression testing and risks are considered and communicated.\nPreparation and execution of test plans and test scripts.\nIdentify edge situations, user interface flaws, and potential vulnerabilities.\nRaise and monitor defects and ensure they are re-tested in a timely manner.\nAnalyse fundamental causes of complicated technological challenges and provide ways to enhance product quality.\nProvide estimates and feedback to the QA Lead and Project Manager for project scheduling purposes.\nDefine and use test reports and templates that are both comprehensive and clear.\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:\nExperience working in a continuous delivery model.\nSignificant experience within a testing role to include at least 3 years of hands-on testing experience.\nExperience in designing test cases.\nExperience in Agile using Scrum methodology.\nExperience using Test Case Management Tools such as TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr etc.\nExperience in managing defects in a structured way using tools such as JIRA\nExperience of working in all different stages of the SW testing life cycle - functional, integration, regression testing\nAbility to determine and dictate relevant test types, methods and approaches (e.g. identify where a tool could help with testing; identify when to test boundary conditions)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent knowledge of test methodologies and development approaches such as Kanban/Waterfall/Agile\nQualified to ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level - software testing.\nKnowledge of automation would be added advantage.
