Must maintain knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and assist in training a small team of therapists to provide quality services to all clients at LAC. Clients include individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other language delays.\nReports to: Program Managers and/or Clinical Director\n Responsibilities:\nSubstitutes for or implements 1:1 therapists as needed\nAll responsibilities for therapists apply to trainer\nCompletes & maintains Registered Behavior Technician credentialing\nAssists with staff training specific to client individual treatment plans, behavior plans, & RBT task list\nAssists with completing weekly treatment integrity checks of each therapist within team\nMonitors & tracks therapist feedback accurately\nManages therapist during support staff shifts & trains therapists to lead group skills\nLead groups skills, as needed\nCompletes therapist competency checks\nAssists therapists in completing paperwork & data, as needed\nAssists in conducting assessments as supervised by Program Manager, or Clinical Director and preps new client supplies\nAssists with all tasks associated with central reach\nDemonstrates creativity & “think outside the box” attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clients?\nConsistently builds rapport with clients & families to achieve best possible outcomes\nAttends & maintains all outside training certifications (CPI, CPR, First Aid, RBT, etc.)\nAttends & implements feedback from weekly supervision with Program Manager\nAssists Program Manager in prepping materials (insurance forms, parent notes, inventories, program materials, etc.)\n Physical Requirements:\nLifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs\nRunning\nAble to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area\nCrouching, squatting, kneeling for sustained periods of time\nBending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes\nFull range of motion of both verbally and written\nRequirements\nQualifications: Exceeds all expectations in completing therapist duties as summarized below:\nMust be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position\nAll applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent are welcome-a college degree is preferred but not required\nExperience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for minimum of 1 year\nProviding direct 1:1 therapy sessions\nImplementing all skill acquisition programs & maintenance programs\nAccurate data collection\nImplementing all behavior protocols & FBA/BIPs as provided\nFlexible, creative, & possessing excellent time management skills\nLeadership experience & skills demonstrated\nKnowledge of basic functions of behavior\nKnowledge of data collection
