We grow together and are stronger together.\nWhat’s unique about this role?\nThe Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of Lighthouse’s product platforms. This role focuses on managing hybrid cloud infrastructure, enabling automation, and delivering robust platform services to development and product teams.\nThe position emphasizes automation, observability, and continuous improvement to support high-quality software delivery. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively partner with development, QA, and operations teams.\nWhat will this person do?\nManage and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure on Azure, including monitoring, patching, upgrades, and automation. \nBuild, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), along with logging and configuration management systems. \nSupport and scale Kubernetes/container platforms (AKS) \nDrive cloud security practices, including SAST/DAST integration and SecOps maturity initiatives. \nAdminister and maintain shared service platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) \nMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) \nEnsure secure and compliant deployments by adhering to governance, security standards, and best practices. \nCollaborate with development and product teams across the SDLC to align on releases, deployments, and priorities. \nApply Agile and DevOps principles to improve build, deployment, and release processes. \nImplement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for provisioning and managing infrastructure. \nGood understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture \nExperience in monitoring and logging tools \nFamiliarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Python/Bash)\nTroubleshoot issues across infrastructure, applications, and integrations. \nParticipate in on-call rotations and support occasional off-hours maintenance activities. \nPerform other related duties as required.\nBring your passion and together we will shine. It would also be great if you had the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience/certification).\nProgramming skills in C# (.NET and .NET Core).\nKnowledge of Python, scripting, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep).\nExperience managing cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AKS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or equivalent).\nStrong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization concepts.\nExperience with application packaging, deployment automation, and release management.\nSolid knowledge of relational databases (MS-SQL) and exposure to NoSQL technologies (e.g., Redis, ElasticSearch, MongoDB).\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, ELK stack, Prometheus, PowerBI, etc.).\nProficiency with Git and modern branching/merging workflows.\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nWork Environment and Physical Demands\nDuties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.\nDuties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.\nDuties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).\nLighthouse celebrates and thrives on diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
