Lighthouse Games is a AAA studio in Leamington Spa, defined by our pedigree of talent and serious ambition to build a new best-in-class game. When you join us at Lighthouse, you will create the best work of your career within a collaborative, hybrid working environment. You’ll learn from the best and work alongside the future greats of the gaming industry.

As a Senior Vehicle Technical Artist, you will play a critical role in supporting our vehicle art team by solving complex technical challenges and building scalable systems that improve how we create vehicles at scale. You will act as the bridge between art and engineering, driving improvements to pipelines, tools, and workflows that enable the team to deliver industry-leading vehicle quality efficiently.

This is a high-impact role focused on moving the team away from manual, asset-by-asset fixes toward robust, system-driven solutions that elevate both quality and productivity.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Technical Artist within game development, ideally at a senior level

· Strong experience working with vehicle content, pipelines, and workflows

· Demonstrated ability to build tools, systems, or workflows that improve production at scale

· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex challenges into practical solutions

· Experience working closely with both artists and engineers in a collaborative environment

· Solid understanding of real-time engines (Unreal Engine preferred) and content pipelines

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across disciplines

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and solve complex technical challenges across the vehicle art pipeline

· Design and implement scalable systems and workflows that address issues across multiple vehicles simultaneously

· Develop and improve tools that enable artists to work more efficiently and at higher quality

· Partner closely with artists and engineers to streamline content creation and integration

· Take ownership of systemic issues and drive solutions that improve output across the entire vehicle team

· Reduce reliance on manual fixes by introducing efficient, repeatable processes

· Support and guide artists in resolving technical challenges, improving overall team capability

· Contribute to establishing best practices for vehicle creation, optimisation, and pipeline efficiency

Desirable

· Experience working on vehicle-focused or racing titles

· Scripting or programming experience (e.g. Python, Blueprints, C++)

· Experience optimising large-scale content pipelines

What we’re looking for

· A genuine passion for cars and vehicle craftsmanship

· A mindset focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement

· Someone who takes ownership and is motivated to solve problems at scale, not just individually

· A proactive, driven individual who wants to push the boundaries of vehicle quality
