The best candidates have a high attention to detail and love the finished work of a great looking car or truck!\nSummary\nDetail Technicians go the extra mile to clean dealership and customer vehicles (both inside and out) and a job well done is a vital part of Lighthouse's great customer service.\nPay: $16-$18 per hour\nHours: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3 PM\nBenefits:\nHealth insurance with employer contribution.\nDental, Vision and Life insurance.\n401k with matching employer contribution.\nEmployee discounts on repair and purchase. \nEssential Duties\nWash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows and wipe down doorjamb.\nApply wax to auto body, wipe or buff surface.\nVacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.\nClean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.\nApply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals.\nClean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.\nApply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgement and following product manufacturer's recommendations.\nInspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.\nRestore appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces - use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.\nUse proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.\nFill vehicle with fuel.\nApply dressing on tires and tire wells.\nReplace missing or defective small parts.\nEnsure proper stickers are displayed in vehicle's window - removing all window stickers on sold vehicles.\nKeep work area neat and clean and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manor - reporting safety issues to management.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nValid Driver's License. \nHigh School diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training. \nExperience with professional detailing preferred. \nExperience in a dealership setting preferred. \nLighthouse Strategic Values\nThe following are Lighthouse Buick GMC Strategic Values; we recognize these strategic values as critical to our business success and are listed below in order of importance:\nPrinciples: The Bible will be our compass and our guide.\nEthics: The implementation of Biblical Principles as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.\nEmployees: Create an atmosphere where people like to come to work. \nCustomers: Exceed customer expectations and we will grow \"Customers for life.\"\nProfit: We are committed to perpetuating this business into and through the next generation, for the long-term benefit of all of our families within the organization.
