Reporting directly to the Director, Product Management, you will work with engineering, sales, operations, finance, and the executive team to accelerate the adoption of Lightmatter products in segment-defining categories.\nResponsibilities: \nDrive product definition (MRD/PRD), SKU strategy, and commercial positioning for silicon photonics products focusing on the Passage interconnect platform, evaluation systems, and demonstration vehicles.\nDrive strategic industry partnerships to ensure the availability of key optical hardware solutions (lasers, fibers, connectors, and components).\nManage product rollouts to lead customers and oversee complete lifecycle management from early development through volume production.\nPartner with sales to win key accounts by creating high-impact customer proposals, technical collaterals, and ROI/value proposition frameworks.\nEstablish pricing guidelines, margin models, and revenue forecasts to ensure competitive market positioning and profitability.\nCollaborate with technical teams to produce high-value outbound collateral and technical documentation.\nQualifications \nMust have detailed market and technical knowledge of silicon photonics and related optical technologies. \n10+years of related experience with 6+ years in product management, marketing, applications engineering, and business development roles driving high-complexity semiconductor products to volume production.\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.\nProven track record driving products from initial business definition through design-in, volume production, and end-of-life (EOL).\nDeep experience with datacenter-deployed technology, including the management, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of optical components.\nComprehensive end-to-end knowledge of semiconductor chip design and manufacturing processes.\nSkilled in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to inform product and business strategy.\nCollaborative leader adept at leveraging key financial indicators and metrics to drive profitable business decisions.\nStrong communicator with a track record of aligning multi-disciplinary teams to eliminate misalignments and accelerate delivery schedules.\nPreferred Qualifications \nPhD focused on Optics, Photonics, or related advanced photonic technology.\nProactive self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities, and taking full ownership of rapid, high-quality execution.\nQuick learner with a hands-on, \"no task is too big or too small\" approach to solving complex problems.\nStrong, established professional network across relevant datacenter, semiconductor, and optical industry segments.\nWe offer competitive compensation.
