We are looking for a Brokerage Operations Specialist with a broad set of skills, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and help run daily brokerage operations, and as they build confidence contribute to improving for the benefit of our customers. This includes:\nRun daily brokerage operations, such as:\nPayment monitoring and management - deposits, conversions, withdrawals\n\nTrade monitoring and problem-solving\n\nLiquidity & FX exposure management\n\nCorporate action management and processing\n\nClient money and asset reconciliations\n\nTreasury Management\n\nLiaising with key partners - securities brokers, market data providers, banks\n\nSet Lightyear up for success by building great processes\n\nManage exceptions and incidents, solving them forever where you can.\n\nImprove the processes you work on, by understanding impact of changes (using data), and suggesting improvements.\n\nYou are\nBe curious and ambitious, with a desire to not just run, but improve the processes and products they touch and understand well.\n\nHave a knack for numbers and code - find their way around a database using SQL, and with a record of using AI to accelerate their learning or work.\n\nHighly reliable and of high integrity - can be relied upon for detailed work, and asking for help rather than risk making a mistake\n\nRequirements\n2+ years of experience in a brokerage, treasury or financial operations role\n\nKnowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority’s CASS regulations\n\nSolid knowledge of financial markets, custody and settlement practices\n\nPassion for investing\n\nNice to have\nDeep Experience in one of the brokerage sub-domains, Pensions, Execution, Clearing and Settlement, Client Money\n\nProduct Management background -
