You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, helping balance business objectives with risk management while supporting the continued growth of the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong relationships, and making a visible impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\n\nYour Key Areas of Focus\nReview, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor agreements and commercial agreements, supporting our insurance and protection programs.\nPartner with business stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance and support strategic initiatives.\nOversee insurance licensing compliance across U.S. and Canada, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and licensing obligations. \nReview marketing materials, customer communications, training content, websites, and other external-facing materials.\nDraft responses to Department of Insurance complaints, BBB complaints, and other regulatory inquiries.\nManage outside counsel and coordinate legal support when needed.\nAssist with insurance regulatory compliance matters, helping translate changes into actionable guidance for the business.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes and help the Legal team operate more efficiently.\nJump in where needed to support a wide range of legal and business priorities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. jurisdiction.\n2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an in-house role.\nExperience reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements.\nAbility to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nA proactive, solutions-oriented approach and a desire to improve processes.\nConfidence working independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.\nComfort learning new technologies and adapting in a fast-paced environment.\nExtra Skills We’d Love to See\nExperience in the insurance industry or another highly regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with contract lifecycle management systems such as Ironclad.\nExperience supporting regulatory compliance programs.\nGet To Know Us\nThe world runs on connected devices.
