This role connects demand signals, inventory availability, operational capacity, grading performance, pricing, allocation, and financial objectives through a disciplined decision-making process.\nThe position will serve as a strategic business partner, process owner, transformation leader, and BI capability builder, strengthening decision quality, visibility, accountability, and execution while establishing standards that can scale across global regions.\nYour Key Areas of Focus\nOwn and lead the end-to-end US&C Pre-Owned S&OP operating cadence.\nFacilitate demand, inventory, allocation, pricing, grading yield, operational capacity, and financial performance reviews.\nConnect channel demand, available inventory, economics, pricing guardrails, operational constraints, and forecast implications in one decision process.\nDefine pre-reads, decision rights, outputs, owners, escalation paths, action trackers, and follow-through.\nDrive alignment across Sales, Pricing, Operations, Finance, Marketplace, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and leadership teams.\nSupport the transition from an inventory-push model to a demand-driven, multi-channel operating model.\nBusiness Intelligence & Power BI Ownership\nOwn the Power BI strategy, dashboard roadmap, reporting governance, and development priorities for US&C Pre-Owned Solutions.\nEstablish executive scorecards and decision-support reporting for S&OP, demand, allocation, inventory, operations, grading yields, channel performance, profitability, and working capital.\nDefine KPI standards, calculation logic, data ownership, refresh cadence, source-system alignment, and quality controls.\nDrive automation of recurring KPI packs, S&OP pre-reads, and executive reports, reducing reliance on manual reporting.\nMaintain a reporting catalog with clear purpose, ownership, definitions, audiences, and adoption plans.\nEnsure reporting is tied to decisions, actions, and measurable business outcomes.\nAnalytics & Performance Management\nTranslate complex operational and financial information into concise executive narratives and recommendations.\nPerform root-cause, variance, trend, scenario, and sensitivity analysis.\nAnalyze revenue, gross profit, average selling price, cost, yield, absorption, channel mix, inventory, and cash conversion.\nIdentify risks, opportunities, operational bottlenecks, and corrective actions before value erodes.\nSupport forecasting, planning, and rolling outlooks with decision-based assumptions.\nGlobal Reporting & Chennai COE Development\nBuild reporting standards, KPI definitions, dashboard architecture, and governance practices that can scale beyond US&C.\nPartner with regional teams to distinguish globally standard KPIs from locally configurable business requirements.\nHelp establish the Chennai S&OP, BI, and analytics operating model, service catalog, documentation, and quality controls.\nRecruit, onboard, coach, and develop analysts, BI developers, and reporting specialists as the capability grows.\nCreate reusable reporting products and data models that can support multiple regions over time.\nLeadership Expectations\nAct as a trusted strategic business partner to senior leadership.\nLead cross-functional decision forums and create clarity when inputs are incomplete or trade-offs are required.\nInfluence stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority.\nChallenge assumptions constructively using data, economic logic, and agreed guardrails.\nSimplify complex analyses into clear decisions, risks, owners, and next actions.\nCoach teams to move beyond report production into insight, root-cause analysis, and decision support.\nQualifications for Success\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.\n8+ years of experience in S&OP, business intelligence, FP&A, commercial operations, analytics, performance management, supply chain, or related functions.\nDemonstrated cross-functional leadership and senior stakeholder management experience.\nExperience in a global or matrixed organization, COE environment, consumer electronics, telecom, marketplace, refurbishment, or reverse logistics is preferred.\nTechnical & Functional Capabilities\nPower BI, Power Query, DAX, advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization.\nForecasting, financial modeling, KPI development, scenario analysis, and S&OP process design.\nExecutive communication, stakeholder facilitation, process governance, and change leadership.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure analytics, Power Platform, Snowflake, Python, or automation is advantageous.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nArea\nMeasure of Success\nS&OP execution\nA consistent cadence, clear decisions, accountable owners, effective escalation, and timely action closure.\nReporting & adoption\nAccurate, governed dashboards used in operating reviews and supported by documented KPI definitions.\nBusiness impact\nImproved visibility and decisions across demand, allocation, inventory, pricing, operations, profitability, and working capital.\nAutomation & governance\nReduced manual reporting with documented sources, logic, owners, controls, and refresh requirements.\nGlobal scalability\nReporting architecture and KPI models that can be replicated while allowing defined local requirements.\nCOE development\nA staffed, trained, and documented Chennai capability able to support recurring analytics and reporting needs.\nGet To Know Us\nThe world runs on connected devices.
