You will partner with an Engineering Director to scale engineering processes, drive cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering teams, and manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs that span cross-cutting scientific domains.\nYou will build and improve how the team operates, not only track and deliver against it.\nWhat You'll Be Building\nOwn end-to-end program management across Designs & Schemas, LIMS, Build & Order, Project Management, and ELN\nAlign requirements, dependencies, and timelines on cross-cutting programs spanning life sciences, formulations, and chemistry\nCommunicate scope, tradeoffs, risks, and timelines to technical and scientific stakeholders, resolving blockers early\nPartner with the Engineering Director to design, operationalize, and improve engineering processes at scale\nScale agile practices across SSR: Jira hygiene, sprint planning discipline, and backlog management\nDefine release gates, support intake processes, and operational dashboards that drive continuous improvement\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\n5+ years in technical program management, managing complex, multi-team programs in a fast-moving engineering environment\nDemonstrated ability to design processes from scratch and operationalize them at scale\nStrong technical fluency with APIs, data models, schemas, and system integrations\nExperience managing cross-functional dependencies across engineering teams and scientific stakeholders\nCommitment to work from our Alewife (Cambridge, MA) or San Francisco office 3-5 days per week\nBonus Points For\nBackground in biology, chemistry, materials science, or another experimental science\nExperience with LIMS, ELNs, scientific registries, laboratory informatics, or scientific data platforms\nExperience modeling samples, protocols, lineage, provenance, or inventory\nExperience integrating scientific systems with automation or data infrastructure, including event-driven architectures\nCompensation\nWe offer competitive base compensation with bonus potential and generous early-stage equity.
