Serving as a critical bridge between customers, commercial sales, supply chain, and manufacturing operations, this role executes orders, coordinates logistics, reconciles consignment inventory, and ensures billing accuracy.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for early-career or experienced customer service, sales support, or inside sales professionals looking to join a growing team within a manufacturing setting.\nKey Responsibilities\nOrder Management & Execution:Accurately process and input customer purchase orders into the ERP system.\nManage order modifications, schedule updates, and send timely order confirmations.\nMaintain forecasts, monitor open orders, and follow up with production, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.\n\nCustomer & Sales Support:Provide responsive support via phone and heavy email communication regarding pricing, product availability, order tracking, and general inquiries.\nServe as a key liaison between external customers, commercial sales, logistics, and internal plant operations.\n\nLogistics & Inventory Coordination:Coordinate shipping, receiving, and transportation activities, including tracking shipments and liaising with outside warehouses and 3PL partners.\nTimely reconcile consignment inventory and ensure proper documentation and billing.\n\nInvoicing & Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely invoicing aligned with pricing, shipments, and customer requirements.\nSupport cross-functional departments including Finance, Engineering, ITC, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nExperience & Education\nExperience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, inside sales, logistics, or order management.\n Industry Focus: Manufacturing, industrial, or blue-collar industry background preferred (open to all industries; B2B or B2C experience accepted).\n Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent work experience is fully accepted (High School Diploma / GED required).\nTechnical Skills & Core Competencies\n ERP & Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP); must be tech-savvy and adaptable to system transitions.\nExcel Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.\n Process Knowledge: Understanding of order-to-cash (O2C) processes, high-volume purchase orders, and precise invoicing protocols.\nCommunication & Demeanor: High sense of urgency, detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive with strong verbal and written communication skills.\nWork Environment & Screening\nTeam Structure: Operates within a collaborative team of ~10 team members.\n Schedule: Salaried non-exempt position requiring approximately 45 hours per week (overtime paid).
