Maintenance Engineer-Agriculture Machinery

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for farm equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate and oversee the repair of faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manage the maintenance of farm buildings, structures, and infrastructure.
• Identify and address any issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies.
• Ensure that all required materials are available for maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in the development of maintenance budgets.
• Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
• Generate reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering.
• 8 years Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a farming or agricultural setting.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with agricultural equipment and machinery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
