As a result of recent growth and new contracts being mobilised, we are now looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.\nOverview\nA skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service Engineer is required to join our growing team, supporting clients across Bristol and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in fire alarm systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across a range of commercial sites.\n\nDiagnose and repair system faults efficiently to minimise downtime for clients.\n\nWork confidently on Kentec, C-Tec, and Advanced fire alarm panels.\n\nConduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire extinguishers in line with relevant standards.\n\nComplete detailed service reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.\n\nProvide technical support and advice to customers on system performance and improvements.\n\nEnsure all work complies with current fire safety regulations and company procedures.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\nMinimum 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.\n\nKnowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards.\n\nStrong working knowledge of Kentec, C-Tec, and Advanced fire alarm panels.\n\nAbility to diagnose and rectify faults independently.\n\nExperience servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers.\n\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.\n\nDesirable Skills\nExperience with security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control), though not essential.\n\nFIA training or equivalent industry qualifications.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently.\n\nProfessional, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.\n\nStrong organisational skills with attention to detail.\n\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.\n\nTHE PACKAGE\n25 Days holiday plus bank holidays.\n\nVan, Uniform and Tools provided from day 1.\n\nAbove industry standard travel to site hourly payments.\n\nOpportunity to earn overtime.\n\nTraining contracts offered to support future development.\n\nEmployee assistant programme.\n\nAccess to BESA technical.\n\nFull training by a supportive friendly team.\n\nPension scheme.\n\nDeath in Service available after qualifying period.\n\nAnnual events and competitions.\n\nINTERESTED\nInterested in joining one of the UK’s fastest growing providers?
