Provide various monthly reports, ensure fixed asset sub ledger is continually updated and prepare monthly reconciliations and assist in monthly variance analysis.\nResponsibility:\nPrepare all journal entries with complete back up in a timely and accurate manner. \nEnsure all corporate deadlines are met regarding tax entry and sales matrix. \nPrepare financial statements, reconciliations and supporting reports in a timely manner. \nPrepare monthly income statements and other monthly reports in a timely manner. \nAssist in preparation of monthly variance analysis reporting.\nPrepare month end reconciliations in a timely manner. \nEnsure GL coding is accurate. \nAnalyze and prepare monthly system generated accruals. \nPrepare all fixed asset schedules for year-end audit. \nAssist with the preparation of a twelve-month rolling forecast as required.\nAssist with preparation of annual budget and five-year business plan as required. \nResponsible for monitoring and reviewing the quarterly and annual payroll tax returns. \nSpecial projects as required.\nAcademic/Educational Requirements:\nA bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and work experience in manufacturing or warehousing is preferred. \nRequired Skills/Experiences:\nA minimum of five years' leadership experience in commercial finance or banking would be preferred.\nAbility to make sound financial decisions and change accounting procedures as needed.\nMinimum four to six years of experience in accounting or in a related area.\nFamiliar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practice, and procedures. \nAbility to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. \nRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. \nInteract with co-workers and accountants and act as a liaison between different departments.\nWhat Linamar Has to Offer:\nCompetitive Compensation\nEmployee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 401k, etc.\n\nOpportunities for career advancement.\n\nSustainability Council\nCommunity based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities. \nAbout Us:\nSkyjack supplies construction rental companies globally with quality engineered, simple, and reliable access and telehandler equipment.
