Job Title: Supervisor, Engineering Job Summary The engineering supervisor manages a team of engineers, overseeing daily operations, tasks assignments and ensuring quality work while providing technical support and mentorship Responsibility Oversees daily activities of engineering staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards Manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place. Assign, train, develop and supervise manufacturing engineers, student engineers, outside vendors Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed. Identify and implement process improvements and/or new technologies to increase efficiency and productivity Assists in planning and coordination of new engineering analysis tools, such as CAD, CAD/CAM system, CAT, quotation sheet Liaise with other departments (e.g., production, materials, QA) to coordinate activities and resolve issues Oversees the design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems Ensure that all manufacturing processes meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety
